Selling Your Property or Secured Note
If you are unable to find the answer you need, please contact us.
How do I sell my property?
Our process is very straightforward. You supply us with the information we need to purchase your property. We present to you a contract to purchase your property. You accept the contract and we go to settlement. It's just that simple. To get started right away, click Sell.
How soon can North Portal close on my property?
In most cases, we can settle on a property within 2-3 weeks of being contacted by the property owner. Every situation is different, so we will attempt to work with the deadlines you specify.
Is North Portal able to stop foreclosure proceedings?
In most cases, we are able to stop foreclosure by purchasing the property while enabling the owner to prevent negative remarks on their credit report. We cannot guarantee to stop foreclosure since it is ultimately up to the creditor's policies for deliquent payment and subsequent recourse to recoup their losses. We will negotiate, on your behalf to the creditor, for the termination of the foreclosure proceedings. We will work with you to arrange terms to bring the mortgage payments current and subsequently purchase your property. We are not a credit repair service and our intent will be to purchase your home.
How do I sell my secured note?
North Portal does purchase Notes secured my real estate. Simply tell us the face value, interest rate and terms, and the particulars of the real estate which secures the note. After we review the information, we will make an offer for your note and send you the appropriate paperwork. After the paperwork is signed and notarized, you will receive payment. To learn more, click Sell.
